A page about me

Who am I?

My name is David Cotton (AKA Discjirm), and I am a 46-year old father, writer, programmer and walker living near Cambridge. In 2003 I finished a 6,266 mile trip around the coastline of the mainland of Britain to raise money for the Riding Schools for the Disabled in Britain.

The picture does not really show me in my best light. It shows me on Bathwick Hill in Bath in 2000, having just completed the last English section of my Land's End to John O'Groats walk.

This leads neatly on to my hobbies, the main one being walking.
